Block 62 Project

This much anticipated move will place the museum on the same city block as the newly developed Arts Plaza and will create a dynamic cultural campus when combined with the Freeport Public Library, Lincoln-Douglas Debate Square, and Union Dairy -- all located just across the street from this project.

By renovating this historical building, the Freeport Art Museum will help preserve the architectural character of our city and add to the sense of pride in our community. Additionally, having the museum located in the heart of the downtown district will be a vital part of the economic development already taking place by creating a destination for visitors and residents alike.
