Join us at Freeport Art Museum for a special Gallery Conversation with Kimberly Sigafus, an award-winning Ojibwa author, speaker, and Illinois Humanities Road Scholar from the White Earth Reservation.

Kim will share stories and history about the Indigenous peoples who have lived in and around the Freeport area, offering an opportunity to learn more about the Native cultures and communities connected to our region. Throughout the conversation, Kim may also draw connections to objects in FAM’s collection, providing a deeper look at the people, traditions, and stories represented through the museum’s holdings.
